We believe that anxiety disorders are treatable and that no one should have to live with excessive anxiety.
Our clinic staff consists of Ph.D.-level therapists in clinical psychology who specialize in the assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders, as well as a variety of masters-level, full-time, and undergraduate research assistants. All staff work under the supervision of Dr. Amir.
For individuals who are interested in gaining research experience, we offer paid and volunteer research assistantships. We are also currently accepting applications for post-doctoral fellowships. You will work with graduate and undergraduate students in the lab and attend weekly meetings with the director of the clinic. Research assistants will be involved in all stages of the research process. Specific duties include becoming familiar with the projects and the relevant literature, learning the protocol for the experiments, collecting data from human subjects, and helping analyze and summarize the data for national conferences. If you are interested in participating in these studies, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
